Position Summary
We are currently seeking Junior Accountants to join reputable companies across various industries. The role involves supporting senior accountants and finance managers with day-to-day financial tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ledgers, and reports.
- Posting journal entries and updating accounting databases.
- Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Preparing and reconciling bank statements.
- Assisting in payroll preparation and statutory deductions.
- Reviewing invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Supporting audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Maintaining organized filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
- Collaborating with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Application Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years experience in an accounting or finance role (internships included).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally—an added advantage).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Age: 22–45 years (preferred).
